Screened out of a survey? Here’s what to do.

A screen-out can reflect audience mismatch, a filled quota or a response-quality check. It is different from completing a survey that is not credited. Identify the state first; changing your profile to chase qualification makes the record less reliable.

Screening is matching, not a test of your worth

A study may need a particular location, purchasing history or professional role. An honest participant can be unsuitable for that project. AttaPoll’s help also distinguishes a quota closing and a failed control question from simple demographic mismatch.

These are documented possibilities, not a diagnosis of your individual account and not proof that every screen-out is reasonable. Record what happened so you can distinguish repeated patterns from one unsuccessful invitation.

Do not combine missing credit with screen-outs

A final thank-you page, an account credit and a payment are separate events. If the final screen appeared but the reward is absent, retain the survey identifier and ask the provider whether an accepted-completion record was received. The appropriate evidence is different from an initial screen-out.

AttaPoll says rewards depend on the survey creator accepting the response as complete and valid. That describes its own process; it does not establish the rules or appeal outcome for every panel.

What you can improve without inventing answers

Keep your profile accurate and update a real life change through the provider’s supported process. Read instructions, use an appropriate device and allow enough uninterrupted time. Avoid opening the same task repeatedly in parallel when something goes wrong.

Do not invent employment, age, residence or purchasing details, use a VPN to impersonate another market or create a new account to evade a restriction. None of those establishes that you are eligible for the research.

Measure the whole session

A completed survey’s displayed duration leaves out screening and administration. Enter your own session times below to see how much of your time was spent outside accepted answers. Start with observed minutes, not a guess about tomorrow’s survey supply.

There is no universal screen-out percentage in this guide. A single session is a small observation and does not establish your long-run rate or an industry benchmark.

When to contact support or stop

If a repeatable technical failure or missing completion appears, use official support with the survey reference, timestamp, country and relevant error. Redact unrelated answers and personal data. Ask for a specific investigation, not a promise that all future surveys will qualify.

If the record shows more time or data sharing than you are comfortable with, stopping is a valid outcome even when a service is operating as designed.

Use your own observations

Was this session worth your time?

Enter one completed session. Include all attempts and keep the reward in a single unit. Entries stay in this page’s memory; this worksheet does not save or submit them.

Enter your recorded values to see the complete time cost. There is no example income forecast.

Questions readers ask

Can I guarantee qualification by filling in every profile field?

No. Accurate profiling can help a provider evaluate fit, but quotas, study criteria and verification still apply. Do not supply invented answers.

Should every minute spent in a survey be paid?

Payment rules differ. Read the provider’s stated terms; if a completed response was not credited, preserve the reference and request a review rather than assuming it was an ordinary screen-out.
