Use the French reward terms, not another country’s catalogue

Triaba’s French table lists 10 EUR for PayPal and a 5% fee. Its Amazon.fr listing starts at a 0.15 EUR denomination. A small gift-card denomination is not a forecast of earnings or an equivalent cash-out minimum. Verify the French catalogue and fee before committing to that reward.

Prolific’s mixed GBP/USD policy stays in those currencies. French-language account pages do not settle the language of each researcher’s task. Also read the controller’s privacy notice: the EDPB explains GDPR rights, but a rights framework is not proof that any individual panel has been audited or certified.

Three checks before giving a panel much time

  1. Confirm Amazon.fr or another French reward rather than relying on a similarly named foreign gift card.
  2. Check the PayPal fee and whether the quoted amount is gross or net.
  3. Keep original-currency receipts; pre-filled tax information is a separate check from what a platform shows as paid.
