Survey sites to look at more closely

India has several explicit participation routes, but reward evidence is uneven. Start with an India-specific method and receiving check. Five Surveys’ Indian page advertises five completed surveys for $3, while direct UPI and several account-specific minimums remain unconfirmed. The comparison below keeps those gaps visible.

“Listed” means a provider names this country or publishes a local route. It does not establish that registration is currently open to every person. Methods and minimums below belong to this country only.

PayPal, UPI and Amazon Pay are three different questions

Triaba India’s PayPal figures conflict: its table lists 10 GBP while its narrative refers to ₹350. Its Amazon Pay gift-card table separately lists 500 INR. Neither an Amazon Pay gift card nor an indexed PhonePe gift voucher establishes a direct UPI transfer. The inspected Ipsos PhonePe entry was marked available soon, and stays outside confirmed direct-UPI matches.

Prolific now explicitly lists India, but its waitlist and verification steps still apply and its approved balances are GBP/USD. MOBROG’s documented 500 points are not ₹500, and Prime Opinion’s local route does not establish a complete account reward catalogue. There is no defensible universal “minimum cash-out in India” across these products.

Three checks before giving a panel much time

  1. Verify the exact PayPal India receiving requirements before relying on that method.
  2. Distinguish cash, gift cards and a future voucher listing from direct UPI.
  3. Check the local Five Surveys offer rather than importing the US-facing $5 milestone.

Language and local account settings

Prime Opinion’s directory links an English India route. That does not promise Hindi or other regional-language surveys. Read each invitation rather than equating an Indian account with a specific survey language.

Tax considerations in India

The Income Tax Department’s filing guidance includes an Other Sources schedule, but the correct return and income category depend on whether your activity is business income or something else. A PayPal receiving check does not settle income tax. Keep reward, fee and foreign-currency records and confirm the appropriate current-year filing treatment; this is not a recommendation that every survey participant should use ITR-2.
