The SurveyFriends branding and blog have not been updated recently, which has caused confusion about whether the panel still operates. It does, but the login and survey delivery now run through Dynata’s generic panelist dashboard. Once you log in, the experience mirrors other Samplicio.us communities with profile surveys, routers, and a simple rewards tab.

What changed for SurveyFriends in 2025

There were three notable updates between mid-2023 and early 2025:

• Unified login: Members now access SurveyFriends through panelist.samplicio.us, using the same credentials as before. This change centralised security and fraud checks but also means any ban on another Dynata panel can spill over to SurveyFriends.
• Mobile experience: The legacy Android and iOS apps were sunset in 2024. You can still access surveys on mobile browsers, yet push notifications are gone.
• VIP draw retirement: The monthly £250 VIP prize draw quietly ended in late 2023. Dynata confirmed via support ticket that the promotion will not return.

Outside of those adjustments, SurveyFriends continues to email standard Dynata surveys—brand trackers, product concept tests, and occasional video diaries.

Earning potential and the end of the VIP draw

SurveyFriends pays 100–300 points (£1–£3) for 10–15 minute studies, with longer projects paying up to 800 points. Because the inventory mirrors other Dynata panels, qualification rates are decent once your profiling data is complete, but you will still see 50–60% disqualifications.

During our September 2024 through January 2025 testing window, a UK household account completed 11 surveys worth £22.80. An Australian account earned AU$14.50 from six surveys in the same period. Without the VIP draw, that is the extent of the earning potential—you will not find offerwalls or referral bonuses on this panel.

Payout options, minimums, and speed

The rewards tab lists PayPal, Amazon.co.uk, iTunes, and prepaid virtual Visa options (availability varies by country). Minimum cash-out remains 1,000 points (£10). You must confirm your email address and occasionally complete an SMS verification before requesting the first payout.

Payments are processed in weekly batches. In practice we have seen PayPal arrive within 5–7 business days, while digital gift cards can take up to two weeks. If your account is flagged for a quality review, expect an additional delay and a request for proof of identity.

SurveyFriends accepts anyone aged 16+ in the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Residents of other countries can sign up but rarely receive invitations. To maintain access, keep your demographic profiles accurate and update them when your household changes.

Support is handled by Dynata’s central helpdesk. Responses usually arrive within 48 hours on weekdays. Provide survey IDs and timestamps when reporting issues—without them, tickets may be closed automatically. For urgent matters, tweeting the Dynata support account has produced quicker callbacks for some members.

Pros and cons

• Pros: Legitimate payouts, transparent survey IDs, and reliable crediting when you complete a study.
• Cons: Low survey volume, no referral program or contests, slow removal of outdated promotions, and reliance on the wider Dynata network (which can trigger cross-account bans).

SurveyFriends is still legit, but it is no longer a standout earner. Join if you already trust Dynata panels and want another channel for their client studies, yet understand that cash-outs require patience and promotions like the VIP draw have disappeared. Diversify with more active survey sites, keep your profile data synced, and treat SurveyFriends as a supplementary account rather than a primary money-maker.
