It sounds very appealing, but the question is, is it legit or just another scam?

In this CashPlay app review, I will show you how the app works so you will know exactly what to expect from it before you even install it. Then, you’ll be able to gauge if it is an app worth using or not.

What is CashPlay, and what does it offer?

Based on the name of the app, you might think that to earn from CashPlay, you’d have to play games. However, that’s not the case. CashPlay is actually a survey app that will reward you for answering surveys.

And yes, it is a legit app since I really got paid when I tested it. However, that doesn't mean CashPlay is worth your time. To find out if you should use this app, you must first understand how it works. And the best way to do that is to take a look at the earning opportunity it offers so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort is needed to earn from it.

The earning opportunity – Paid surveys

The only way to earn from CashPlay is by answering paid surveys. However, it doesn’t have its own surveys like some other survey apps. Instead, it acts as a survey router by partnering with other survey providers to give opportunities for members to earn.

The earning process is relatively simple. You log in to the app and click the Take Survey button. Then, you’ll be taken to a partner survey provider’s platform. During this step, you’ll have to answer a set of qualifying questions so that the provider can determine if you belong to the demographic the survey is intended for.

If you qualify, you get to answer the survey. If you fail to qualify, then you just have to move on to the next opportunity. When I was testing CashPlay, the qualifying rate was lower than most survey apps and sites I have tested before. So, don’t expect to qualify for a lot of surveys. Later, I will explain what this entails.

After completing a survey, you’ll receive a certain number of points as a reward. In the next section, I will discuss what you can do with the points you’ve earned. One thing I noticed while I was testing the app was that the estimated time to complete a survey is not quite accurate.

Sometimes, it takes longer to finish a survey. So, it’s kind of hard to gauge how long a survey actually is. There’s a decent number of surveys available at any given time, but as I’ve mentioned, the qualifying rate is very low. So, it essentially negates the fact that there’s a good number of surveys available at any given time, in my opinion.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you’ll earn points from answering the surveys. But what can you do with the points you’ve earned?

Well, you can convert them to cash via PayPal. As you can see in the photo above, you can withdraw your earnings as soon as you’ve earned $0.15 worth of coins (4,000 coins, to be exact). That’s a very low threshold, in my opinion.

So, withdrawing your earnings won’t be that hard. The only downside is that this is the only payment method available. So, make sure you have a verified PayPal account if you decide to use this app.

Overall, I would say the payment system of CashPlay is relatively straightforward. I like the fact that it offers a convenient payment method like PayPal. How much money can you make?

As mentioned earlier, there’s a decent number of surveys available at any given time. The only problem is that the qualifying rate for these surveys is lower than most other survey apps and sites I have tested. So, it’s still quite hard to earn from CashPlay, in my opinion.

Plus, it doesn’t pay that well compared to other survey apps and sites. That is why I would say the earning potential of CashPlay is lower than most other survey apps. It will take a bit of time and a lot of patience to earn a significant amount from it.

CashPlay does have a bonus system you can take advantage of. It will help you earn more by just watching a few video ads per day. However, the bonus you will earn will still not significantly increase the amount you can earn from it, in my opinion.

Can you use it on a desktop?

CashPlay is a mobile-only platform, so you will need a mobile device to earn from it. However, the app is only available to Android users. If you are an iOS user, then this app is not for you. I recommend you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

The app is relatively easy to use, but there are a couple of issues I noticed while I was testing it (more on this later).

 The overall user experience it provides is quite decent, in my opinion. You won’t encounter a lot of annoying pop-up ads while using it.

Who can join CashPlay?

The app didn’t really say which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. So, you should be able to download and install it regardless of where you live. The best way to find out if it is available in your area is to search for it on Google Play.

If it appears among the results, then that means it is available in your country. If it doesn’t, then you cannot join. Also, be aware that even though you can join from most countries, you can only get paid via PayPal, so if PayPal is not available in your country, it does not make sense to join.

One of the weird things I noticed about this app while testing it was that it didn’t ask you to register after you installed it. You can just immediately start earning. Normally, with other survey apps, you’ll have to go through a registration process before you can start earning.

But with CashPlay, you can just start answering surveys immediately. What this means is that your account is bound to the device, and if the app is somehow uninstalled or you must switch to a different mobile device for some reason, you’ll lose all your earnings. I personally don’t like apps like this, where you can’t save your progress.

So, keep that in mind when deciding if you should use this app or not.

Can you get support?

Another issue I noticed about CashPlay is that it doesn’t have a FAQ or Help page you can check out if you have any questions about the app or your account. It also doesn’t have a contact form you can use to get in touch with the support team.

I had to check the app page to find out the email address of their support team, which is not a good sign, in my opinion. Apparently, you can send your inquiries to hello@cashplay.pro. It would have been better if this information was readily available inside the app.

That’s why I would say CashPlay doesn’t provide good support to its members since the app doesn’t offer an accessible way for you to contact support.

CashPlay is a legit survey app that will reward you for answering surveys. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has a few limitations you have to consider.
